I think we will finally see some dropouts by the time its announced who has qualified. Swalwell is likely being bumped out by Bullock so he's probably done. If Moulton doesn't make it either then I don't see how he can continue on. There is no viable path if you can't make the debates. September debate is when the real culling begins.

Kamala's success in attacking Biden ensures it will be open season on him next debate no matter if she ends up there or not. The busing stuff is just the scratch of the surface of his record we haven't even got to the crime bill and Anita Hill. The bankruptcy stuff and Wall St. bailouts are gonna be brought up for sure.

The moment Tulsi comes after anyone the Assad bomb is just gonna be dropped on her. I just can't see her withstanding sustained attacks on her record. Tulsi is best when she stays above the fray and sticks to her anti-war message.

So what happens when more than 10 qualify for the third debate? Do they split it up again with a smaller number on each night like five?

I think Biden, Harris, Sanders, Warren, Buttigieg are locks. I have Beto, Booker & Klobuchar on the  bubble in that order. 7 or 8 would be really good # and we can finally have a substantive debate but Yang & Gabbard have a potential to mess things up by qualifying.

Does anybody else think Biden is gonna go after Harris on something and it's gonna massively backfire?

Actually I think Harris is going to embarrass herself attacking Biden on something.

A smarter move on her part would be to stay above the fray and let others attack Biden (which they will probably do since it worked for Harris last time).

I doubt that. She's a prosecutor and they plan things out meticulously before trial and are very well composed. I just don't see how people who see Kamala perform in Senate hearings think she'd perform poorly in a debate.
