Why would you want to deal with those damn surrendering communist snobs? Aren't you True ConservativesTM supposed to hate France?
Well, France is America and Scotland's oldest ally, so it does make sense from a traditionalist perspective. The French military is also the most successful in European history, and I view France as a strong nation that is shackled by socialist government rather than a weak nation. Then obviously there's the food, wine and rugby.
