So like most of us thought - Hillary broke the law, but not in a way in which she could be held criminally liable. I'm satisfied with the result.

While she will not be prosecuted over this, I think it's rather a pyrrhic victory for Hillary supporters because the evidence is very clear that she lied to the public for the past year, she acted irresponsibly, and she was far from cleared of wrongdoing.

So basically the conclusion is what it always seemed likely to be: the email setup was dumb, but not ultimately illegal.

Not great, but I can live with it.
No, it's clear that it was illegal, but it was not done with either criminal intent or at a scale so vast that she could be criminally prosecuted.

Paul Ryan is out suggesting that the FBI is undermining the rule of law now.

No charges. No charges. No charges.

That is what counts. All this trying to spin lint into gold is pathetic and sad.
Not really. There are still political consequences, and deservedly so.

You lost, so sit down and be quiet.
I lost? How did I lose? The people lost. It's not even about the server or about her conduct while in office, look at the misinformation she spread for the past year on this issue. Basically all of her assertions about her conduct were rejected by both the State Dept and the FBI. Okay, she's not a criminal, but she's a flagrant liar. That matters.

Not when her opponent is even worse of a liar.
Does Trump have the character to be president? Of course not, and I'm bothered by it. That's not the point.

Clinton lied about her behavior to the people for a year while running for President. What else is she lying about? And let's not pretend that Trump's stupid lies are as sinister or calculating as Clinton's lies. Lies are not made equal, and I dare you make the case that Clinton is less deceptive than Trump, even if Trump tells a greater volume of lies.

This is the bottom line on Hillary, and it should matter.

Not in a world where a president lied about Iraq and wasted trillions of dollars and thousands of US soldiers lives.  You have to put it in perspective.
So now you're pushing Trump's disgusting conspiracy theory that Bush lied about WMD to get us into Iraq? Sorry, you'll have a hard time finding support for that even among Democrats.

And tell that to all of the British and Middle Eastern intelligence agencies which were fooled about Saddam's WMD bluff even before the US government was.
