I'd like to see an impact assessment from the GM before supporting this; whilst it's vital we support our domestic steel industry I'm worried this could have a major short term impact on infrastructure projects

although on reflection I'm not sure I could support a bill that completely bans foreign steel imports; when the evidence is that the high tariff regime currently in RL is already causing some teething difficulties for the industry.
