Congrats! I'm sure you'll be great at this, and lots of respect for choosing such a hard but tremendously important profession.
I hope you'll be a good teacher. Not all who have gone into teaching have done so. I'm serious about this, as there have been teachers my sons have had that have, IMO, done lasting damage. I hope you never forget the tremendous effect you will have on young lives, for good or ill.
Agreed, and I'm sure crabcake is aware of that. As a science teacher, I know that they'll strive to create a stimulating and safe learning environment where every student knows they're deserving of respect and self-love regardless of class, ethnicity, gender and sexual orientation.
CrabCake may be a biology teacher (congratulations btw), but that might be going a bit far.
