Nay

This is no more than pandering to those who want to put the region above the nation and whims of the masses above the law.

This is no more than pandering to those who want to put the region above the nation and whims of the masses above the law.

It is about a little bit more than pandering. The principle of self-determination is at issue, as is the issue of the propriety of the use of force - something of increasing importance since Governor Jesus decided, a few hours ago, to start bombing Atlasian citizens.

We have laws Jas. While the people of New Mexico voted to become part of the Midwest the population of the Pacific, as per the Constitution, did not accept the transfer, as they are well within their power to do. Jesus stated that he wouldn't give up New Mexico without other concessions from the Midwest. The Midwest was unwilling and began to support illegal measures to take control of the state of New Mexico without the needed approval by the Federal Government and the people of the Pacific Region.

While I do not agree with the actions that Governor Jesus has taken and would rather see the federal government be the peacekeepers in New Mexico it still does not negate the point that the activity of the Midwestern government has been against the Constitution of Atlasia in various ways, from a lifetime appointment of Governor Verin to inclusion of New Mexico into the Midwest Region without approval from either the Federal Government or the Pacific.

While these actions have circled down into a treasonous chaos by all sides due to the inability of the government and of the President to actually act on the Federal Government's behalf the original flashpoint of the inclusion of New Mexico into the Midwest without approval by the Pacific Region or the Federal Government is illegal in every sense of the word and unconstitutional to the fullest degree.

I thought Resolutions didn't need to President's signature.

They don't. It passes automatically.
