While Keynes theories may have been policies that could help a nation suffering through the Great Depression the extrapolation of his ideas into the modern globalising economy has lead to the stagnant economic growth of so-called "social market" economies in Europe.
His ideas may have been suited to trying to give the government something to do to try to ameliorate the people's desire for government to make things all better but now I believe that they only promote the stagnation of growth, the decreasing of productivity and limiting capital for business expansion.
