Let's all take a moment and remember that regardless of what the results are, Marco Rubio is the true winner today.

Chuck Todd just said SC is gonna make it a "fun night." I assume this means it's not a Trump romp. The Rubio inevitability is approaching.

Looks like Rubio's unlikely to win. Thank God.

A 3rd place finish will make him the story. And if he gets 2nd? Forget it, he's the inevitable nominee.

If those results are accurate, the media will write Cruz's obituary, slam Trump's underperformance, give Rubio all the momentum, then crown him inevitable nominee after he wins NV.

It's happening.

Rubio won't win Nevada.

He will after the endless media blowjobs in the next 3 days. Mark my words.

MSNBC already spinning a Rubio 3rd place finish as the "comeback kid."

Why didn't they just call it immediately? It seems odd that <1% in is enough, but at the start wasn't.

Promising a "fun night" and then calling the race almost immediately. Media...

I guess by fun they meant whether or not they'd crown Rubio inevitable (if he finished 2nd) or a strong frontrunner (if he finished 3rd.) Roll Eyes

I'm loving NYT's live model projections.

The NYT has great results pages. Unlike the abomination that is CNN's.

My god, someone on CNN actually used the phrase "Rubio's third place victories" unironically. How did the media come to believe that third place is the first winner?

The media is despicable. He set the expectations with his 3-2-1 strategy. 3-5-3 or 3-5-2 is an epic failure!

In other news, Nikki Haley just got embarrassed again. Along with Gowdy and Scott. And of course Lindsey. lol

Radio's solid third place tonight is likely to knock out  both Bush and Kasich and I would expect Rubio to benefit most from that.

Kasich isn't going anywhere. He didn't even try to compete in SC.

LOL at Kasich being ahead of Jeb, even if it's temporary. Jeb staked it all here, Kasich didn't even campaign in the state and wrote it off!

Tell me more media, about how Jeb and Hillary both imploded equally. Roll Eyes

Kasich is beating Bush because he beating Bush in Beaufort which has 65% in, Kasich is losing to Bush almost everywhere else including the largest counties. Bush will easily beat Kasich unless he improves in the largest counties.

The fact that he's even close to Kasich is completely embarrassing when you consider how much they each invested in the state.

Can we at least kick Carson out of the debates? It's a total waste of time.

It's hard to say when he'll drop out. He could be pulling the usual "I'm not dropping out" speech only to drop out the next day, or he really could stay in indefinitely to sell books.
