I actually didn't realize until now Eric Garcetti is still mayor. I thought he was going to be ambassador to India, but read that he apparently failed to get senate confirmation.

Anyway, seems like Bass hasn't created much enthusiasm?

Interesting the mayor already gets inaugurated in December here instead of January. Bass' departure from the House has the outgoing majority now reduced to 218-213.
