Shocking the nation, President Harris announces in September 2023 that she's not running for a full term. Vice President Lamb gets the nomination with token opposition and, with Gretchen Whitmer as his running mate, defeats a Mike Pence/Ron DeSantis ticket.

Biden dies of a stroke, Harris becomes president and appoints Cunningham VP. Harris decides not to run because of some health problem. Cunningham wins the nom and wins the presidency over Kristi Noem.
