Laie is something of the capital of Native Hawai'ian Mormonism. Go figure.

It's also the seat of Brigham Young University's Hawaii Campus. Brigham Young University being a university, it's over on the democratic side of town.

BYU being more Democratic than the rest of the town?  Big Native Hawai'ian swing.  BYU is the Republican part of Provo.

0-0 silly. You know that already. The result you're looking for is Mail 30 (13:12).

Obama 24, McCain 6, Nader 1.

Pfft, that's still 13-12, just a separate VBM listing for it.  Tongue

I see these are on the Atlas.  Go Dave!  (Or Lewis?)

Must be Dave. (Where on the Atlas? I don't see it.)

I've always wondered what a "Walk" precinct is?  Early walk-in votes?

Well, I'm surprised. Does anyone know how Manoa voted? I think these are the precincts in district 24. Its where my grandparents live and the university.

University Laboratory School (24-03) was 78-20 Obama

Also, what precinct was the best for Obama in Hawaii?

Both in Maui County:

Keanae Elementary School: Obama 78, McCain 8
Kaulanapueo Church (Huelo): Obama 267, McCain 25, Other 8

Basically, the Hana area was generally his best.
