No

I see no redeeming value whatsoever in watching two people have sex.

Sex is a part of life.  It's a culmination of love and passion, and isn't that great fodder for a movie?

That's kind of like saying, "what's the point of movies?  You're just watching what happens in life."

Taking a dump is a part of life.  It's a culmination of food and digestion, but it isn't great fodder for a movie.

That's a pretty horrible strawman.

Yet it does not beat responding to my points sensically.

Considering your record for apologies on this board, I don't think anyone owes you any apologies whatsoever.

And why does he need to apologize to you for being wrong?  Are you egotistical to the point where you think that you are the embodiment of rightness, and therefore must be apologized to for all error?  Tongue

(Kind of like how I'm still waiting for my apology about the whole Gregoire thing...except I'm not, since the only apology you owe is to those who actually believed you knew what you were talking about...)

It's simply my knee-jerk reaction to seeing two men (or boys) kissing or having sex with each other.  And before you ask -no, I don't have the same 'ick' reaction to seeing two women going at each other.  Yes, it is a double-standard and is patently unfair and bigoted.

Deal with it.

"Deal with it"?  Sage advice Wink

"Love Story of the Century" is about Mary Kay Letourneau and Vili Fualaau.

It upsets me so many can consider child molestation "beautiful."  I know, prude, blah blah blah.

Actually, "ignoramus" was more the word I was thinking.  How are those newspapers demanding Gregoire resign doing, by the way?  I'm curious since you seemed to drop out of that conversation.

Well, let's see:  I actually got on with my life and went to work, meetings, concerts, and a funeral.  I'm sorry you have nothing better to do than dwell on the way you misread my post two weeks ago, but while you're welcome to waste even more of your own time on it, you're unwelcome to waste mine.

I'm obligated to do that until you fess up to being wrong.  Tongue
