I hate to say it, but Democrats seem to have lost their mind.

1)  challenging Ohio electors in the Congress

2)  ripping an African - American woman secretary of state nominee

3)  voting in mass against the first Hispanic atorney general

4)  Kennedy's rant THREE says before the iraq election

5) Howard Dean as party chair?

Look, I have problems with Bush policies in every area, but this is lousy strategy, and for what?  Alienate a portion of our base minorities?  Make Howard Dean the face of the party?  Acting like sore losers with Ohio when we lost the state by 100,000 plus?

We are playing right into Bush's hands.  I'd like to win another election, but we are cutting our own throat.  You have to use a little common sense at some point.  Suicide is not my first choice of strategy.

Speak out against Bush.  Sure, put forth our own ideas and be critical.  However, how about we choose our battles a little more carefully.
