No real experience with them. I've seen their churches but never met any outspoken members. They are rather outnumbered. If you simply say "I'm Lutheran" here, everyone assumes you are ELCA.

So somewhere in South Carolina is quite similar to much of rural southern and northern Minnesota in this aspect? Very interesting...
