Creed is the worst of post-grunge (the worst rock subgenre), Blink is the worst of "pop" punk (the worst "punk" subgenre), and Swift is the worst of modern synthpop (one of the worst pop subgenres). In other words, they are all bottom of the barrel and beyond the pale

Hahahhahaha no. Pop punk is awesome. The worst "punk" subgenre is easily "tough guy" hardcore or whatever the f[inks] that weird synthy goth rock meets emoviolence sh!t is called.

Pop punk is quite literally a oxymoron

This statement is incorrect. See:

There are five (out of eight) Taylor Swift albums with no or almost no synthpop on them.

That's fair, I'm judging her by her most recent material. I'm sure her earlier, more "country" influenced work is much more bearable

Her newest one has basically no synthpop on it either although despite the claims of "it's actually good!" I heard from some what I listened to I found boring. Not awful and unbearable in the way most pop music is, it just didn't draw me in.

None, but Creed is easily dead last of these.

By the way, I'm pleasantly surprised that I'm seeing so much Blink 182 hate. I always thought that I was only person in the world who can't stand "All the Small Things" (I don't even know any of their other songs, but I imagine that I wouldn't care for them) even back when it was first released in the late 1990's. I actually have an inside joke with one of my friends where we agree to leave anywhere if "All the Small Things" plays on a radio or music stream, or whatever,; especially if people start singing along to it out loud.
All The Small Things is awesome but it's not even in their top 20 songs. What about this one?

Best song-writer: Taylor Swift

Enjoy most: Blink-182

You listen to both death metal and Blink-182?

Yes, as well as Spice Girls, Mozart, Dream Theater and bollywood music.

That's...weird.

(Before anyone says "But you listen to Blink-182 and all that weird screamy music!" Yes, but that's part of the same scene and related genres and thus shares a large overlapping fanbase. Most hardcore kids also Iike pop-punk of which Blink-182 is the most successful mainstream example.)

I find it a bit perplexing how many apparent Taylor Swift fans there are here on this insanely male dominated forum as back in my youngest years NO young males would ever admit to enjoying female pop stars (or for that matter the popular boy bands of the era, Backstreet Boys, NSync, etc.) In fact about half of young females (the ones who tried to be non-girly and listened to alternative rock) also made a big fuss about hating them.
