I could say both on account of the fact I have never ever voted for anyone other than a Democrat in a partisan election and I doubt I ever will. But that's also because pretty much any Democrat in Minnesota is better than pretty much any Republican. In the end, saying both results in no difference.

Now if I lived in a country with a multi-party system, I could see myself voting more for the candidate, I would vote for either Labour or Lib Dem depending on which candidate was better for example. But in the US, there is really no realistic scenario (since Zell Miller vs. Lincoln Chaffee type stuff will never happen) where I would vote for the Republican. The last one I can think of was Lieberman vs. Weicker, and Weicker's an Independent now.
