The most liberal candidate who was from one of the Twin Cities and had a base of mostly urban based unions and progressive activists won urban areas is supposed to be surprising?

c) Urban DFLers are the far left Bernie types that think Walz is Republican-lite (which isn't really true, but whatever)

...no? Swanson maybe but not Walz, who had significant support in the urban areas and had the endorsement of Jacob Frey and many urban legislators.
