I'd take the no side if I was a betting man.  This is overly paranoid.

People also said it was overly paranoid when anyone said Trump's win would spread hate, make open white supremacy acceptable, and put the lives of already marginalized people at risk.

And believing that even the current Supreme Court would allow that might be just a bit of a stretch.
