Absolutely not. Identity voting is very real. It's a big reason why Trump appeals to the WWC as well (not that Trump is WWC himself, but he behaves like one, which is what is important). But it is also a main reason why more "cerebral" candidates like Buttigieg or Warren overwhelmingly appeals to the highly educated. People do like to vote for people that they can identify with. With Kanye it is not just his skin colour, but certainly attachment to hip-hop culture and his larger than life celebrity personality.

BTW, I am NOT saying that black people will vote for Kanye in droves, but it is possible that he siphons a non-insignificant part of the black vote away from Biden.

Considering that any recent events happened under Biden as President and that the Supreme Court and basically all courts refused to entertain any of Trump's bullsh!t after the election, it's still obviously quite far fetched regardless of other decisions they've made.

If you are going to acquit Kyle Rittenhouse because he claimed self-defense, then you might as well aquit those white men in Georgia who murdered Ahmad Aubrey. They are claiming it was self-defense and he grabbed their gun.

The legal precedent has been set in this country that you can stalk someone with a firearm, even if they have not committed a crime, and if they decide they are threatened and want to take the gun from you, or protect themselves in any way whatsoever then that means you are the victim and not them.

No, they need to force Warnock to drop out and endorse Lieberman (i.e. the strongest - or rather, least weak - Democrat running).  Of course, they should be spending on the regular Georgia Senate race since unlike Warnock or Lieberman, Osoff actually has a chance of winning even if it's a long shot and the money would be much better spent on Maine, North Carolina, Montana, and (if Kobach is the Republican nominee) Kansas.

There's really nothing preventing state legislatures from assigning electors now, just that all 50 states have laws requiring them to go to the winner of the popular vote in that state and it's such a radical position to repeal it that even the Republican Legislatures and Governors aren't willing to. Someone like Mastriano would be willing to buy still unclear if he could get such a bill passed.

Repealing it after the election would probably be struck down by even the most conservative court as an ex post facto law and we saw how interested courts were in Trump's post-election attempts. Still any case that would potentially push gerrymandering even further is quite worrisome.

Why couldn't they just pass a law today saying "the state's presidential electors will be determined via popular vote; however, a majority of the legislature, within three weeks of the election, may override this and determine the presidential electors" if they passed it before the election?
