Yes (Christian)

Because it's Darren Aronofsky and looks like an entertaining fantasy epic, without caring about how closely it matches the Biblical story or considering that I don't believe in that account anyway not being a biblical literalist.

Minor issue but I'm a little disappointed. You usually don't jump on the annoying forum memes so doing so for the insanely overused "normal" one especially over a trivial thing like seeing a movie or not is pretty surprising one. Plus it's not like it's "normal" to not watch blockbusters of this type, (whether it's showing of good taste or not is certainly debatable, but that's hardly the same thing as "normal".)

Well, that's the point: It's trivial. Hatred of big, dumb summer movies is hardly an unpopular opinion to take, and this is a big, dumb summer movie that has been compared to Battlefield Earth in terms of pacing, substance, and thematic content.

77% on Rotten Tomatoes implies otherwise...but regardless even if true doesn't really prove the point. The Transformers movies were some of the dumbest ever made and the epitome of really dumb big summer movies yet box office returns show that it's most certainly not "normal" to hate them. Really I'm just ranting about the practice because it's so overused it really means nothing at this point, people use it in cases where there's no "normal" option (as in one where there would be an obvious consensus) or even where an opinion one way or the other would be all that controversial, it's actually quite likely that if we had a "Do you prefer Coke or Pepsi?" poll you'd have people responding either "Coke (normal)" or "Pepsi (normal)".
