I don't know how much he was making, but Utah is cheaper than Minneapolis, and I could support myself here on significantly less than what I currently make, (after all it's a well known fact what type of things I spend lots of money on that aren't exactly life essentials) if it wasn't for student loans I probably could on just $20k/year. If I was making my current salary in Utah with significantly less debt I'd be living like a king (well as much as one can in that Mormon-dominated state.) Of course in Bushie's case it might not be a bad idea because of how just how awful his decision making is. As I came here to ask, has he made a single good decision since he started this job hopping thing? On the other hand, his parents encourage his awful choices as well, so...

Ideally, Bushie would just find a way to live off the government dole for the rest of his life and quit this "working" thing. It clearly isn't working out for him.

You're taking a "detour" that increases your travel time by 70% JUST to avoid snow? And now your new route has snow anyway? You know, the interstates are pretty much always salted well in advance, especially in states more accustomed to large amounts of snowfall. I don't know too much about AZ's climate but I wouldn't be surprised if it's actually easier for you to go through WY than AZ.

Of course, this is BushOK though and there's always a subtext. Anyone wanna bet he has some elaborate excuse for visiting a casino when he's just "passing through" Vegas and ends up spending away all the gas money his parents gave him?

Yeah, unless there's an actual snowstorm (of course knowing Bushie he probably would consider this a big snowstorm, the Interstates are completely clear. I should know this better than anyone. Of course Bushie might be aware too and the rest of your explanation is correct.

Bushie, this is going to be more difficult in Oklahoma than it would've been in SLC, but if you want to lose weight, go to shows and start moshing and dancing. I did an experiment in 2009, where I weighed myself in one of those gas station scales on the way to Indiana and on the way back, and discovered I lost six pounds over the weekend. That doesn't sound like a lot, but also consider that I had the worst diet ever, basically nothing but fast food, candy, potato chips and (lots and lots of) alcohol. Of course you supposed you first need to get money to go to such shows...

That doesn't give you your credit score.  Only the credit report.  All 3 bureaus charge for the actual score.

My question is more of a fundamental one... why the hell is someone like him buying a house?

I don't get why people feel the need to buy a house... when they clearly can't afford it.

I can afford one in a very expensive property market, but I have no interest yet.

This is proof that it needs to be a lot harder to get a home buying loan. A LOT harder. It appears the Obama admin is heading in the right direction by basically agreeing to eventually let Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac go under if needed.

The ideal solution is to abolish ALL forms of government aid for homeownership and replace them with a rent subsidy providing program based on income. Not just for poors like currently, it should be like Obamacare, you can get subsidies making up to $50k/year.

It's awful. Many posters who responds regulary don't give a s**t about helping Bushie. It's never ending "hahaha! What a retard! Let's kick him again! My life is sooo great!" fest. The fact Bushie Can't see it makes it even more distasteful.

And if Inks locks this, as it should be done, there will be so much faux outrage. That's why those guys are even bigger joke than Bushie.

People have been giving him advice ever since the thread started. He just keeps ignoring it.

Plus how many temp agencies has Bushie applied to? Even a one day gig moving furniture to a new office location is better than nothing, it'll probably net around a hundred bucks and help save up more to finally get the hell out of home. I did jobs like that a bunch when I was at home between college semesters or between college and being out of the house.

My working theory is that the vandals are lurkers on this thread, and used the info Bushie gave here to learn that the house was unoccupied.

Well hopefully his creditors aren't lurkers here... yikes!

Or anyone looking to scam people.  He's given out enough info here to make it easy to find him.  And he's proven through his stories that he's gullible, and will even give out his Social Security number to a stranger.  So anyone reading this could very easily target him for a scam.  Yet he continues to post in the thread, and give out more info.

And it's VERY easy to find this thread and the previous ones with the info publicly available on his Facebook page, I was able to and I'm not even his friend.

OK, I just visited his FB page, and it wasn't obvious to me how it links back here.  What I did find amusing about his FB page, though, was his work history.  Not sure if it's such a good idea for him to be reminding people of his colorful work history from the last five years on his FB page!

The main reason I don't feel sorry at all for Bushie's parents is they are a big part of the reason (if not the main part) why he is the way he is and have been encouraging his decision making to go the way it has every step of the way. Remember how every time he got told on the forum just how blatantly idiotic his next decision was he would respond by pointing out they were supportive. So him mooching off them is just the expected outcome and what they are responsible for.

If I was ever in Oklahoma (unlikely) and there was a hardcore show going on in Oklahoma at the time (also unlikely, would have better luck in Salt Lake City), I'd be willing to help Bushie out with his credit problems and pay $50 to take him to a show just to see how he'd react. It'd be so priceless. Hell it'd be so priceless I'd also be willing to pay the gas money to take Bushie to one in Dallas if needed!

Once again, Bushie should go to hardcore shows, and start dancing. He probably would have to lose quite a few pounds before he could crowdsurf, but that doesn't lose much weight anyway.

Also Bushie needs a PHYSICAL job. I lost about 10-15 pounds in the six weeks I worked at Target despite eating basically just junk the whole time. (Just as I lost six pounds over one Dude Fest with an absolutely horror show of a diet.)

Well I think probably most question that your faith actually suggests that when things go wrong in your life, it necessarily means that it is all Satan's work for starters. Second man up. I get flack for having a lot of dough, and this is used to question my motives as to opinions on various issues. It comes with the territory, and I just laugh. BRTD gets sh*t because he is into emotional displays of religious fervor, and there has been a full court press lately bashing him to bits. Do you see him whining about it? F no! That is one thing I admire about BRTD. He just picks himself up off the floor, and keeps on going. He typically does not even take it personally.  And remember jmfcst and the abuse he got?  Did he whimper?

As I have said before, if you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen. This place is the wrong place for you. We don't follow the Emily Post rules of etiquette around here. Deal with it. Free and rough and tumble debate is what it is all about, and it will remain so, as long as I have anything to do with it - and influence over it. That's a promise.

Thanks Torie. Ultimately though there's no reason why anyone should be unhappy because people on the Internet don't like you or make fun of you. I mean it's an Internet message board. Bushie of course should be far more concerned about the issues in his life that actually affect him than the mocking he gets for posting about them.

LOL. I'm going to walk further than that just going to the bank today. Hell just even walking to church and back yesterday (which is about 10 minutes one way) is a mile walked.
