Is the BushOklahoma Saga comparable to LOST?

-Impossible to summarize, one basically needs to read the whole thing to get it.
-Out of nowhere plot twists.
-Keeps continuing due to said plot twists even after the obvious arcs have reached closure.
-Despite all that, the main character doesn't change that much.
