I agree, I don't think that Giuliani helps Bush too much in the Northeast, against Kerry Bush would still lose the entire Northeast with the possible exception of New Hampshire even with Giuliani on the ticket. Giuliani helps with swing voters, but hurts with the base, and so overall I don't see him helping the ticket a lot. He might help some in the Midwest and in Pennsylvania, but even there he might turn off enough base voters to negate the benefit.

Yes, I guarantee if it is 405 to 133 in the Electoral vote, then there will be no recounts.

But why is it pointless and annoying to attempt to try to find the true winner of a very close election? I suppose this whole concept of democracy is pointless and annoying to you too, and you'd rather just have the Republican nominee in every race become the automatic winner.

No way Bush will win Illinois or California, and Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Maine are also highly questionable.

Let me get this straight, Opebo...you are saying that Bush SHOULD fake Bin Laden's capture or death just to win the election???

That's correct, I don't think that the end justifies the means.

Heck, why not just assassinate Kerry a few days before the election if he is ahead in the polls?

Well, you are correct, it wouldn't work, an investigation would be launched and Bush would be impeached or resign.

But then you'd get Cheney as President, so what the heck.

Well, maybe I'm just naive then in believing that most politicians wouldn't go to those lengths morally.
