When he does retire, who will succeed him as second-in-line to the Presidency?


Nancy Pelosi, though she will replace him in that position before he retires. Smiley

If the Dems take control of the House (God willing), they would not be so stupid as to elect that pile of trash Pelosi to the Speaker's chair.  There are FAR more qualified Democrats than Pelosi.

I agree that she is not my first choice.

Right, it is unlikely Democrats would replace her. Republicans weren't about to dump Newt Gingrich after winning control in 1994. And Pelosi is no more extreme than Gingrich was.
