Cruz.

Trump was a terrible candidate for The West. His only really good win in the region BEFORE he won Indiana and everyone else dropped was Arizona.





I don't know. Colorado and Wyoming didn't have proper primaries, Idaho and Utah were Mormon country, while everything else besides Arizona and Nevada (both of which Trump won, Nevada being a caucus) was after him being called presumptive nominee.
