And I highly doubt Manchin would vote against a Biden nominee either.  He's voted for ever Biden judicial nominee so far (as has every other Democrat).  And the only cabinet nominee he opposed (Tanden) was likely rooted in a personal situation involving his daughter.

I think the reporting was that he also opposed Omarova but so did a handful of other Dems.

Excited to learn more about this "Kantaji Brown Jackson"
Something tells me that Manchin votes "Nay", as does every Republican

He voted to confirm her for the Circuit Court.

Kamala Harris would honestly be a terrific pick.  She's a very bright and qualified person who's on the right side of almost every issue, but seems to have horrible political instincts and no real electoral constituency.  She's a little only the old side, but just barely.  And this would allow Biden to nominate a new VP with actual appeal to Latinos.

Dems would immediately lose their senate majority.  It requires a majority of both chambers to select a new VP after the vacancy, and there would be no one to break the tie in the senate.  Republicans would have a say in who the new VP is and they could even hold the VP seat open until 2025 if they wanted to.

Everyone knows it KENTAJI BROWN JACKSON AND RS KNOW IT

I like how you're one of the few people allowed to reply to the tweet, lol.

Mr. BS actually has a good point there, at least in the first 2 lines. I took Toobin's tweet to be speculation about whom Biden would nominate, since we generally expect Breyer will probably retire this year.

3. Masks do not prevent the contraction or spread of the recent variant.

It makes it less likely.

Perhaps they postpone the inevitable by a week or two.

I think it's been more than 2 weeks since you first said this and I still have not gotten sick.

I did wear a mask in the grocery store last week.
