Does anyone know if people who are at work get time off to caucus at 11am local time ?

Some businesses might do that, but there is no law about it. Voting is typically on your own time in the US.

The best is when they start extrapolating. If the rest of it goes the way this last bit came in then <insert final result here>.

Dumbass college students getting in a live argument on CNN.

Chill dude. It is a way more informed and intelligent discussion about politics than most people would have, if they even cared.

Sorry, but when I want to listen to people yelling at each other but saying nothing, I come here and join in myself. I don't want to see it on CNN. Tongue

Then turn it off. You have no business name-calling them behind their backs, here or anywhere.

Uh, wtf? If these people are on live tv then everybody has the right to talk about them in whatever way they want.

A legal right, sure.

A moral right too. Why wouldn't one have the moral right to criticize people on tv?

He called them dumbasses. That goes beyond simple criticism. They didn't try to get on TV. They decided not to run away when they were filmed.

Hmmm, that last point is fair. It's probably rude and unwarranted. But still I think everyone has the "moral right" to criticize everyone on tv.

You're mischarcterizing what I actually said. I didn't say he didn't have the right to criticize them. I said he had no business name-calling them.

Since when Matthews became a Hillary hack? The guy has said that she was elected senator only because people sympathized her after the Lewinsky affair.

He apologized effusively for that and has very regularly said nice things about her in the time since, with nothing even approaching that level.
