OK---- Initially Lieberman made a strong speech, but it sounded like he may have crossed a line of sorts, considering that early on he was making a strong sales pitch to moderate democrats, but I'm not convinced he will pick up that much support among any other than conservative Democrats already inclined to vote towards McCain.

Lieberman and Thompson did something not done in the DNC:  Appeal to the American voter, not to the party.

I thought Lieberman was effective in that respect.  Not awesome but good, and better than the Democrats did.
