I know Mueller is very thorough and everything, but he might want to pick up the pace abit. Its not a good sign when Trump is directly referring to him in tweets.

The irony is that Cox actually was more or less a Democratic partisan, whereas Mueller is a lifelong Republican who didn’t exactly have a reputation as a liberal squish as either a US attoeny or FBI Director

Is it just me or does dirt against Sessions coming to light seem like a worrying development? I have no love for that man at all, but Sessions as AG allows Rosenstein to maintain control over the investigation. If Sessions is out, a new AG will come in and assume authority over Mueller's investigation, and that could easily be devastating for his work if the new AG turns out to be a Trump lackey.

Now I just wonder if Trump will jump on this as an excuse to fire him.

Assuming Mike Pence is clean, who will he pick as his VP? I could see Pence/Haley being the 2020 Republican ticket.

Apparently George Nader wired $2.5 million in laundered money to Trump fundraiser Eliot Broidy as part of an effort to promote the UAE and damage Qatar. By total coincidence, this happened about two months before the diplomatic crisis in Qatar began. Also did I mention Nader is a cooperating witness.

This may tie in to all those stories about Kushner and Gulf money

Explain this, those who think Mueller is going to bring Trump down.

He's 1) trying to get Trump to agree with a perjury trap interview

2) Going to accuse Trump of Obstruction of Justice in the report and recommend impeachment

3) reassuring Trump (for now) to prevent any more interference with the rest of his work, I.e. investigating Russian election interference

Do you think Mueller is the one who grills each witness face to face, or is it more likely that Mueller's agents do the interviews?

There was an article last fall that suggested it’s the agents/prosecutors, but sometimes Mueller “sits in” in the back of the room, silently watching.

I'm starting to seriously subscribe to the belief that the reason about half of the many, many rumors we hear about Trump firing people are true and half are false is because Trump legitimately does want to fire them, and his inner circle leaks it to the press to see how it would run. If Trump doesn't mind the blowback, he fires them. If he does, they get to work another day.

Or they leak it hoping there will be blowback to try to stop him from doing it
