If she runs the race is hers. The question would be who she would nominate to be her replacement.
The article cited suggests LePage could get to do the nominating.
Then LePage would nominate himself.
He's already running for Angus' seat.

So if he wins (somehow), he nominates someone else like Poliquin.

If he loses (most likely) he appoints himself.
