Also worth noting that the WOW counties are actually fairly exurban. Milwaukee is not a huge city with sprawling suburbs like Chicago, New York, etc.

Compare to other Midwestern metros like Indy, St Louis, etc and they’re all still pretty Republican burbs, though getting a bit less so.
