I'm sure she thought the reaction to this would be different than it has been. She probably thought it would be more along the lines of "AOC thumbs nose at rich at their gala."

Nonetheless, seems kind of uncharacteristic for AOC. Prior to now, she has struck me as someone who would turn down an invite to an event like this.
