The Rs were more conservative than Lincoln but they do were the Secular party as they were the compassionate conservatives and there were the Dixiecrat Party

The Parties we're reverse die to Jim Crow and Slavery and then starting I'm 1900 when the Industrial Tree evolution came, it was called the Labor and Tories due to Income tax passed in 1917, but Jim Crow still rules D's until FDR due to Chain Gang and no Public Defender's and Miranda Rights until 1963

Both had their up and down sides, but I'm going to go with Jackson for his commitments to federalism, populism, classical progressivism, and democracy. The Indian Removal Act is an obvious HP act, much like Roosevelt and the HP Japanese Internment Act, but he knew to break 'em up, decades before Teddy would do the same thing. Overall he was a good president who like Roosevelt, made an awful mistake which led him to be rightfully but harshly judged.

Andy Jackson had Blk slaves working for him at the White House he owned 161 slaves give it up he was a Dixiecrat, he was racist as most of the Ds including Woodrow Wilson were before FDR and had Cox and FDR would of been elected on 1920 we would have avoided a Kay Edgar Hoover nightmare FBzi that Calvin Coolidge appointment in 1924

All you have to do is look at SCOTUS NOMINEES, no Dixiecrat protected Blk Civil Rights until William O Douglas when FDR became Prez, Melvin Fuller a Dixiecrat appointed by Grover Cleveland ruled Plessy v Ferguson was Constitutional Separate but Equal Facilities, and Samuel P Chase a Lincoln Appointment affirmed Emancipation proclamation when Lincoln used Executive Order to free us with stare decisis of Federalist John Marshall Judicial Review in Marbury v Madison which Jefferson who owned 700 slaves and Madison owned 100, thought was an infringement on states rights and Fugitive Slave Law as I previously said

Jefferson should be replaced on MT Rushmore he didn't support Marbury v Madison that gave Judicial Review the Federal authority to overturn Slavery thru the Emancipation proclamation, he thought infringement on Fugitive slave law, and replaced by LBJ whom signed the Voting Rights act, did Andy Jackson or Jeffersonville do this or Woodrow Wilson, man, Females couldnt even vote until 1920  due to they were property of hubby like slaves

Found this great olawakandi post from 2019, in the thread that Alben Barkley linked to for his “first post on the forum” thread.

This will be a fun bump in November.

Safe R -> Safe R

I've got cartons full of eggs ready for November, and I'm sure the thread for "well-aged" posts will have many new entries then.

Quite the contrary, if Beshear wins, it will be a fun bump
