Edwards may be 'southern', but I doubt he'd do well there even against McCain. He's inexperienced (1 term as a Senator) and has been branded with a 'liberal' image that's tough to shake off. He'd have to run against Guiliani to pull off even half of the South. At most, he'd win a few very populist places like Arkansas or West Virginia.
McCain by about 350 evs. Dean's map is best, although i'd give Connecticut and maybe Hawaii to Edwards and slide Minnesota into McCain's column.
