I offer the following amendment:

Quote
6 . All direct travel for personal and business purposes to the Gaza Strip is hereby prohibited for the next 180 days.
A. This section shall not apply to humanitarian missions registered with the President.

Maybe passing this bill will push the GM to be more proactive rather than reactive.

Objection, no one seems to care about the GMs providing updates on other current events.

Our thread's open if anyone wants to make requests on other events to be updated!

Maybe passing this bill will push the GM to be more proactive rather than reactive.

No, all it would do for the canon is make the Senate look like it's legislating on things that haven't happened.

When something of this magnitude happens IRL, everyone's response (including this bill) is inherently reactive. We have plenty of stories to legislate on, IDK if the complaint is that we didn't write about Israel–Palestine going down the tubes right before it actually went down the tubes.

Now if you're inquiring about the speed at which stories are put out, that is very valid! But those we do put out are already plenty proactive.

The last GM-generated story was published on September 4. That's over a month ago.
