OOC: Can everyone tolerate a 6 hour extension of the turn? I don't believe I'll get home from the field office in time to post. I still need to post my surrogates, debate surrogate team, and closing statement.

I'm cool with it. Is that a 6AM end to it now?

Can we move the deadline up a day? I've had long days at work this week.

I'm ok with this.

A Statement from the Vice President of the United States
Vice President Rudy Giuliani delivers a statement on Osama bin Laden from Air Force Two. The Vice President was en route to Homestead Air Reserve Base in Homestead, Florida from Joint Base Andrews in Prince George's County, Maryland when a live feed was set up, in his office space within the plane, for the Vice President to address the nation.

Over the past few hours a video has surfaced of a man, appearing to be Osama bin Laden, delivering an address on Islamic Jihad and the September 11th attacks. On behalf of President Bush, I can now confirm the authenticity of the video and that the man in it is Osama bin Laden.

America will not be influenced by this enemy of the nation. We will not be intimated or pressured into responding. Osama bin Laden is weak and in hiding. It can be seen clearly, in the video, that he is weak and his health is failing. I've spoken with the President about this and he agrees with me that there is no new threat from Osama bin Laden or Al Qaeda. Al Qaeda is falling apart and its main leaders have been either killed or captured, thanks to the brave efforts of the American servicemen and -woman, and it is only a matter of time before bin Laden himself will be found and brought to justice.

Thank you and God bless the United States of America.

Pro-Giuliani Campaign Ad, Running in the Following States:

Even Democrats

- Clint Eastwood Chuck Norris is on screen, leaning against a dusty truck. He speaks straight to the camera -

Lots of Americans from across the nation have announced their support for Vice President Giuliani in his campaign for President. There's been athletes, musicians, business owners, and politicians. Now, the Vice President's list of supporters has grown again. Speaking at an event in New York City, Senator Chuck Schumer - a leading Democrat in the Senate - gave his support for Vice President Giuliani.

- Clip of Schumer plays -

- Camera returns to Eastwood Norris -

Even Democrats are turning their backs to Senator Biden and his anti-business, pro-radicalism policies. Americans from across the nation are recognizing that the candidate for jobs, for security, and for a better America is Rudy Giuliani.

Paid for by the Chamber of Commerce

Round XXXIII: November 1-November 2, 2004

Election Day is upon us! The candidates are crisscrossing the country in the final hours before Election Day. Most pundits declare it to be a coin-toss election. Polling continues to show a close race between Vice President Rudy Giuliani and Senator Joe Biden, with Governor Johnson and Congressman Kucinich drawing a respectable third and fourth place polling. All four candidates have raised a considerable amount of money over the course of the cycle and have been targeting the key states.

In recent days the revelation of the Bin Laden tape has caused heightened concerns for the country, with the terror alert level being raised. The candidates have responded the to the video by the mastermind and both President Bush and Vice President Giuliani have seen an uptick in support. Some pundits believe this will help Giuliani in the closing hours of the election, as it will compliment his campaign of experience in handling terrorism. Polls have continued to show a small, but steady lead for Giuliani throughout the entire cycle. Many pundits believe the remaining undecided will break evenly between Giuliani and Biden, with some going for Johnson.

Most pundits expect November 2nd to be a long night as polls in many states show a close contest. Fasten your seat-belts!

What's the difference between the two maps?

If it's too confusing I can take one down?

No, that's what I thought - I just wanted to clarify that I was correct in that understanding.

Pro-Giuliani Campaign Ad, Running in the Following States:

Even Democrats (2.0)

- Chuck Norris is on screen, leaning against a dusty truck. He speaks straight to the camera -

Lots of Americans from across the nation have announced their support for Vice President Giuliani in his campaign for President. There's been athletes, musicians, chefs, business owners, and politicians. Now, the Vice President's list of supporters has grown again. Speaking at an event in New York City, Senator Chuck Schumer - a leading Democrat in the Senate - gave his support for Vice President Giuliani.

Even Democrats are turning their backs to Senator Biden and his anti-business, pro-radicalism, appeasement policies. Americans from across the nation are recognizing that the candidate for jobs, for security, and for a better America is Rudy Giuliani. Election day is tomorrow and the choice is yours. For me, its crystal clear. My vote is going for Rudy Giuliani.
