The Attorney General continues to retain my confidence.
God, I wish you weren't retiring.
Sheer hilarity, I wonder if Jas will continue to defend him
I give great credence to the presumption of innocence and I am willing to defend those who I feel are being unfairly castigated. Unless and until there is evidence that wrongdoing has occured, then the benefit of the doubt should generally apply. I make no apology for my opinions in this regard.
However, as you in particular are aware Senator, I do not defend those who I believe have engaged in wrongdoing, indeed I've always been active in denouncing unethical behaviour and seeking the removal from office of those who I believe have crossed that line.
Given this morning's developments, the President's actions in removing Xahar from office were appropriate in the circumstances and I await the proposed court proceedings with interest so that the full facts can be made clear and established for the record.
