After all that bitching and moaning, I wound up voting for Hassan after all. It was half the sh*tposting mileage it would get on here, half the Tulsi endorsement, and half the fact that I grew up with her representing me for most of my life.

Not exactly the reason everyone expected but I'm sure the Dems here will be happy.

Things look good for Democrats in NH. Pappas is sweeping Manchester, winning its most GOP ward by 2. It's about the same as Mowers' numbers, so that's pretty encouraging for him. I'm still waiting for the Seacoast numbers, but he seems to be running on par with his 2020 numbers. I'm very, very bullish.

The really interesting thing is that Hassan is running competitive with Bolduc in Rochester of all places. It's R+5, but it's a very Trumpy place. Never in a million years would I have seen this coming.

NH is at this point just a Dem mirage. Still have faith.

Glad to see someone fighting the good fight Hassan and Pappas as they're winning the Democratic strongholds of ahem Rochester and Laconia.

Malliotakis is doing insane in NY-11. It's a district that would have turnout dynamics that favor Rs in a midterm with Dems relying on some very propensity voters, but if that R+27 is anywhere close to the final margin at nearly 80% in.

Joy Reid is still pretending that black vote in Ohio will save the day for Dems... Jesus Christ... Why is this woman even on TV?

Remember, this is the same idiot who blamed her homophobic quotes being archived in 2006 on Russian hackers.

I'm really not sure what's wrong with "I'm sorry for the things I posted, I've evolved in the 10 years since then and I have much more understanding of the LGBT community." Just a very sad woman.

It's over. This is Leavitt's home turf and Pappas is actually overperforming his 2020 results.

I am comfortable enough now to say that this is the most pathetic performance for an out-of-power party since 2002, Florida's wackiness notwithstanding.
So much copium.

You may net just barely enough seats to win the House and the Senate is still a toss-up.

There is no universe in which this is the "wave" I was promised.

Sounds like you're the one inhaling copium.
This is a mirage, still loads of ED left.

Fetterman absolutely killing it in Allegheny.

Biden +20 in 2020.
79% in right now, and Fetterman +34 (66-32)

Everyone apologize to this man right now.

So how are we feeling about the dangling seats out west?

Haven't paid attention but feeling pretty good about Boebert going down.

Maloney concedes the race in NY-17

Incredible that this moron evicted Mondaire Jones because he thought NY-17 would be easier than NY-18.

That's the mindset of someone who doesn't have the guts to fight a serious campaign. If he had taken NY-18 he probably would have lost that seat instead.

This is my line of thinking - no doubt Maloney would have blown NY-18.

Just lazy ass campaigning from the NYDP. Jacobs needs to be fired into the sun and the party needs to be purged of the rest of the crypto-Republicans.

The results out of New York just blow my mind. Jay Jacobs (the party head) legitimately spent more effort stopping India Walton last year than they did any Republican this cycle. Including Zeldin.

Just a flagrant dereliction of duty. If he's not replaced the national party needs to cut all ties with it.

Hell, even Schumer barely won by more than Whitmer and Shapiro.

What is going on in New York? Will be super ironic and annoying if it costs us the House.

From what I've heard on the ground, a near-total lack of campaigning on the state party level. No real GOTV effort from the state party or Hochul's campaign herself. The NYDP basically checked out, thought they could coast to victory, and blew the House.

The only reason right now would be unexpected health issues

Speaking of which, Fetterman's health issues make him non-viable as a presidential candidate. Replace him with Polis on that list.

Cope and seethe, baby!

Democrats must consider how they can best follow the bold strategy of running an all-milf ticket in other states

I'm amazed that Republicans thought hitting Dana Nessel on the issue of *checks notes* getting blackout drunk at a college football tailgate was a good idea.

Frisch (Dem) 156,746 (50.0%)
Bobo (GQP) 156,682 (50.0%)

99% Reporting

Very glad to see I have a new election result to point to when I Sawxpost about niche issues.
