GeorgiaModerate, can we get a scoreboard update?

I need to know if I should write my concession speech to Donerail.

There are ten games outstanding, but some of them are unanimous picks and won't affect the relative standings.  (That's not counting the CFP Final, which we obviously haven't picked yet.)
NYE I think is mathematically out — down three with only two possible points to gain (the Orange and the Texas). You, on the other hand, could win outright, since we picked differently in the Outback, Citrus and Sugar.

Technically, I'm not dead yet. I'd need to pick a different pick to both you and GeorgiaModerate in the Championship Game, and get the other two picks right.

I've seen this movie one too many times.

Alabama 40, Georgia 7.

Baylor leads 7-0 in the Sugar Bowl with the fate of our pick'em on the line.

Really disappointing to see Michigan crumble in the spotlight. I didn't necessarily expect them to win, but to not put up any fight was a bit of a surprise. But credit to Georgia. Not only were they (of course) way more talented, but the coaches were genius in their gameplan. They gave Hutchinson and Ojabo ZERO opportunity to make a big play in the pass rush. They made safe passes to the outside and executed a power running game and its all they needed to do.

Still a successful season. One to look back fondly on. But its a tough pill to swallow that after getting this close, its hard to imagine ever getting any closer. Maybe if they could recruit a top of the class QB, they could compete with the big dogs. But outside of that, aspiring to beating OSU and winning a Big Ten Championship is pretty much the ceiling.

I know Jim Harbaugh had a fantastic season, but with another coach (maybe a Brian Kelly or Lincoln Riley) could Michigan have done better? Like, if Michigan had fired Harbaugh after last season, and attempted to hire Kelly, Riley, Mario Cristobal, or a high-profile coordinator like Brett Venables, Dan Lanning or Tony Elliot, could they have not only gotten to the playoff, but won their semifinal game against any of Alabama, Georgia or Cincinnati?

The new SEC, same as the old SEC.

9-6 Alabama late in the Third Quarter.

Star Alabama Wide Reciever and likely NFL Draft prospect Jameson Williams tore his ACL in the National Championship Game.

My guess is we are going to start seeing players in line to get drafted to the NFL start opting out of the playoff.

Is Jim Harbaugh headed back to the NFL? The Minnesota Vikings are interested in the Michigan Head Coach, and a formal interview may be scheduled soon.

Assuming the Jim Harbaugh to the NFL story is accurate, my guesses as to the next head coach at Michigan:

Cincinnati Head Coach Luke Fickell
Baylor Head Coach Dave Aranda
Houston Head Coach Dana Holgorsen
Ole Miss Head Coach Lane Kiffin
Seattle Seahawks Head Coach Pete Carroll
Kentucky Head Coach Mark Stoops
