Unfortunately, the Iranians are determined to acquire a nuclear weapon, and like with North Korea it's hard to believe anything will stop them. From there it's a matter of containment, and that shouldn't be as difficult. Like the Soviets before them, the Iranians aren't idiots. They aren't going to use a nuclear weapon against a U.S ally, when that ally likely has nuclear weapons, and they would also be risking a nuclear strike from us as well.

At the time I thought I was making the correct decision. Clearly, I was wrong, as we face a virulent insurgency backed by Al-Qaeda, that we are having monumental trouble stopping, and we still cannot catch Osama Bin Laden. So here we are, another Clinton Presidential campaign. What has changed since Hillary's run 2004?

Well, the field is stronger, my health is better, and we're facing an incumbent that has done much to piss off his base.

Who do you think will emerge as the winner in Iowa?

As much as I'd like to say Hillary will win, she's to far back, and we'll be lucky to steal third. As for who wins, I think Senator Bayh will narrowly edge out Governor Dean, but it will be very close.

Can Senator Kerry survive a last place finish in Iowa?

While in theory he should do well in New Hampshire, he can't do that without doing well in Iowa, and 10% of the vote is not going to cut it.

Can Governor Sanford survive a loss in Iowa?

Given he's also not going to do well in New Hampshire either, I don't see Sanford surviving a defeat in the caucuses.

We're in third place heading out of Iowa, yes, but our frontrunners can be beaten! In Governor Dean, we have someone who claimed he was more conservative with money than President Bush, claimed he had as much foreign policy experience as a sitting president, was endorsed by the NRA eight times as Vermont Governor. Senator Bayh has voted to ban partial-birth abortions, for a ban on desecrating our national flag, supports increasing the usage of the death penalty. Bayh also has voted for removing the need for a warrant for FISA Courts to monitor suspects and has voted for reauthorizing the Patriot Act. I find it hard to believe that either of these people will be our nominee at the end of it all!
