And opebo falls victim to using the elections of the last twenty years as indicators of a trend.

Since 1892 RI has gone GOP 12 times, DEM 17 times.

This is my plan.  Thousands of southerners will flock to RI in the summers to escape the southern summer heat, and enjoy the great RI summers.  Each year, some of these conservative minded southerners will decide to make RI their home.  Based on these projections, I predict RI will be solidly back in the GOP column by 2092.
