Half the country is going to be furious if Chauvin is convicted?

Half was probably an overstatement, but I know plenty people who fully support chauvin and honestly think police should just have Carte Blanche.

Chauvin being convicted is the right way for it to end, but I don’t know if that’ll be a good ending

But this is not a left-right issue. What Chauvin did is not conservatism. I have no idea why "some" elements of the right-wing attach themselves to people like Chauvin and other police officers whenever the subject becomes about killing black people.

Not everything is left-right, there are some people who simply don’t see Floyd’s life as expendable, and I said the “half” was an oversimplification
