The retards who follow Bernie like he's some kind of messiah are (hopefully) going to form a suicide pact when all is said and done and they'll be yesterday's news.  His sane supporters will keep to Bernie's message regardless of who's president, and since millennials are the chief demographic for him, they will, inevitably, inherit the Democratic Party and decide how it should move going ahead.  The last generation of Democrats chose to go rightward; that won't be the case for the next generation.

What happened in Nevada is nothing short of an embarrassment and a stain to the party and to the movement.  But, hey, if Democrats survived 1968...

Minus the use of the word retard and the advocation of mass suicide, I agree with this statement.

I wonder whether Bernie read the Art of the Deal and realized that by taking the extreme position of threatening to accuse Hillary of cheating, riot at the convention, and destroy the party, he could force a middle ground where they accept his lunatic policies, rather than the status quo four weeks ago, when the campaign was about issues and people didn't like Bernie because his policies were asinine and he couldn't defend them.

Well, in three weeks (or possibly four), this will be over. Some of Sanders' most die-hard supporters might start a PUMA-like group, but it's not going to gain a lot of steam in an election where Donald Trump is the Republican. The negativity may seem strong this year, but it's largely a very vocal minority. It was worse on both sides in 2008.

Exactly, but don't let the Hillary Hacks know you think that.

2008 isn't an excuse for a candidate who claims to be progressive to refuse to condemn his supporters when they act like TRUMP's white supremacist thugs.
