Oh boy! George Romney.
An American hero. One of the greatest Americans in the 1900's, just like his son is one of the greatest Americans in the 2000's.

Only assuming he's 'really' Conservative.

Romney had to pretend he was moderate, or the liberals of Taxachuestts wouldn't have voted for him. They may not be identical politcally, but they are both Romney's, and that is what is important.

Oh, so you mean you approve of lying about one's political beliefs soley to gain political power? That's good character.

Didn't Obama say that he was going to take public funding for his campaign, then back out of i?

Certainly, that's true. Is going back on one promise such as that the same as serving for several years in a political office, and in your own words, lying about his political views?
