We should find out tonight whether Craig and two other GOP candidates are going to be kicked off the ballot.

In other news, the board of elections did recommend that Tudor Dixon get ballot access. She's still practically unknown across the board but she has been racking up endorsements from establishment types, including the DeVos family, whom endorsed her today.

So is it safe to say that Craig is officially out of the race or does he get some sort of appeal?

The Michigan Board of Canvassers could ignore the recommendation(s) of the Bureau of Elections and place Craig on the ballot, but since the board is split, 2-2, between Democrats and Republicans, that would require the concurrence of at least one of the Democrats.

After that, I guess they could try to get the courts to intervene, but Craig didn't even get close to the minimum ballot threshold. Almost half of the signatures his campaign submitted were deemed straight up fraudulent. He claims he's the victim here but I seriously question the competency and sincerity of a campaign that looked at the following signatures and said 'yup, those are legit!'

Unfortunately, the article is behind a paywall, but it's not difficult to discern the main takeaway: Dixon doesn't have any cash and the outside PACs aren't stepping in (yet) to pick up the slack.

Serious VA-Sen 2014 vibes with this race. Dems are in for a surprise on election night.

I don't get the comparison. Unlike Warner, Whitmer isn't sleepwalking through this race and has shown that she's taken this challenge seriously by spending August and September defining Dixon for voters while Tudor basically vanished off the map. If anyone is phoning it in, it's Dixon.

lmao, the MI GOP is throwing Tudor Dixon under the bus in their autopsy report while she blames the state party apparatus.
