It seems to have backfired on the Tories: the only party trusted to run the NHS is Labour and I reckon Labour have been looking for an excuse to bang on about the NHS for a while.

With a bit of luck, the House of Lords hasn't signed its own death warrant

By the sounds of it an 80% elected Upper House is likely fairly soon
