Have you driven a vehicle with the indicated engine on a regular basis?  I.e.,  just because you once got to drive a friend's Porsche 911 does not mean you get to tick a flat-6, but if you regularly drive or drove a Subaru Legacy you might be able to. (Flat engines are most often found in sports cars and in Subarus.)  While I included a lot of configurations, I haven't included them all, just those I thought it reasonable to think forum members would have had access to. For purposes of this poll, treat Volkswagen's VR and VV engines as inline and vee respectively.

Mosty V8s, of course, thank goodness.  I did drive a few inline sixes, mostly in trucks or vans belonging to my father's company.  Inline sixes are great motors, very smooth.  I also drove a few v6 cars in the last years I was in the bad place. meh.  Finally now that I'm over here its an inline-4 - something I never drove back home.

I'm not sure. I do know that it's a car of some kind.

Honestly couldn't tick of the list one by one, but the two cars I've spent the most time with have both been V6's.

My car can go vroom AND tut-tut!

(I have no idea and guys ask me about my car's engine and I can't even figure out how to find out what it is and it's embarrassing somewhat but I also don't really care. Although I guess it would be nice to participate in these conversations.)

inline 3 (Subaru Justy)
inline 4 (lots of 'em)
V6 (couple of mini vans)
V8 (Chevy Impala)
other/rotary (3 RX7s)

at one point in my life I had 2 RX7s and the Subaru...so I had 7 combustion chambers and 8 driven wheels spread out over 3 cars
