Any American who cares about the royal family should just move to the UK if they want to be ruled by a monarch. This is a free country.
How does caring about the royal family equal wanting "to be ruled by a monarch"?
There's no reason to care about these people unless you're a royalist simp who wants to swear fealty to them.
I don't think people usually need a "reason" to care about someone. They either do or they don't. And again, I really don't get where your hostility is coming from.
We fought a war specifically so we could stop giving a sh*t about which chinless geezer the British worship. No self-respecting American should devote any mental energy to tabloid drivel about a dysfunctional family on the opposite side of the ocean.
