A little over two hours to go the pre-game shows are already going on all the cable networks.

Suggestions for any drinking games?

watch McCain's pointing finger. WHen he mentions 'cronyism' and 'others who took a hike' etc he points to Obama. HE is trying to play nicer but his finger betrays him

Obama is not answering the question.

no one wants to answer this question because the answer is simple but deadly

we must raise taxes and cut benefits

Obama is not answering the question.

...and McCain does, yet the audience has already decided to not like him much.
McCain didn't answer it either ....he said 'form a commission'

no politician has the guts to say what needs to be said

i agree with McCain...nuclear has to be part of our energy future....but that doesn't sell well. People would prefer an oil rig in their front yard more than a nuclear plant down the road

It wasn't just the "that one" words, his body language and facial expressions were just plain creepy.

interesting to see the diference between men and women when Obama talks about children.
men = heartless...screw the kids
women = awwww he loves kids and wants them to have healthcare

I think it is smart for Obama to start talking about the cost of the war in Iraq. Now that we are going broke it is now safe to talk about the money without being branded as 'hating the troops' because you want he oil rich Iraqis to pay for their own security

the debate between Obama and McCain on Pakistan and Iran are strange

McCain seems to be calling Obama a warmonger for wanting to go into Pakistan, but a friend of terrorists for being willing to talk to Iran

the vice versa is also true

The war has cost $700 B since 2003; the economy has cost $750 B since September 1.
we will get most of the 700 from the bailout back..maybe even a profit

we are never getting the Iraq money back

I liked McCain's handshake with the voter. It looked (at least to me) rather authentic, and I think will go over pretty good.
that was a good genuine moment
