If you look back at Tim Russert and You tube and 2004 CO, NV, NM, OH and VA were too close to call Tim Russert want to declare those states for John Kerry but that is further proof that Gephardt not Edwards was best for Ds in 2004

He made a funny Tim Russert on 2004 results , Jim Bunning was tied with Mongiardo and Bunning used a teleprompter for a Debate that's why Bush W stopped in Frankfort KY and CVG OH to save OH for Rs

If Beshear runs in 26 and Rodriguez runs in TX and is Ryan Busse runs those are three seats gone for Rs

The map as of tomorrow morning. Filling out the West.

The US travel map as it stands. I expect to add a lot to it between now and next April.

40% Blue: Stay of at least one night
50% Blue: At least one stay of multiple nights, or multiple one-night stays
70% Blue: Multiple multi-nighy stays

Well where to start:

It's been a rough year.  I've been laid off for six months.  Four months ago if someone told me I would still be in this situation now I would have laughed in their face.  I used to have so much confidence in my ability to get a job if hard times hit me.  Now?  I'm not so sure anymore.  There are a lot of times over the past month that I've started wondering if I chose the wrong profession and the wrong career.  I seem to be okay with numbers but I feel like all I'm doing in every interview I've had (and I've had many) is striking out.  I have ten good years of experience, I advanced up the corporate ladder, but when I think about going back into my field I am not really that excited about actually doing the work but what pay and benefits I would get.

I am not in a hopeless situation.  But I am lost.  There are several fields that I find interesting that I believe I would be a good fit for versus what I'm doing now.  I've always felt like my personality doesn't mesh well with the corporate world and I'd be better suited to a more laid back kind of work.  For the first time in my life I'm writing in a journal about every other day and have been using a separate notebook to brainstorm various career/lifestyle ideas.  Right now I'm just thankful I have a place to call home and a strong support network.  I've also gone cannabis free for about five days (feels like an eternity) and that seems to help massively with the depression I've been feeling (I have been taking some CBD to deal with the anxiety and stomach pain).  I find that daily exercise (about 100 jumping jacks, 60 pushups, and a couple hours of walking) seems to help with the endorphins.  Since moving to Las Vegas in late October I've felt rejuvenated a bit and the amount of recreational trails and parks around really helps with that. (I'll post some pictures later)

Merry Christmas Atlas and hopefully a Happy New Year.

This is a response to you but I think it could apply to others too.

If you're willing to start at the bottom again in return for much greater job opportunities, more options when looking to change jobs and a much higher pay ceiling, then I would suggest you consider looking into a career in sales or marketing. If you think you "could never be a salesman" don't be so sure - salesmen aren't all the sorts you see in movies etc (can't have 11 forwards on a soccer team anyway) and if you're nervous about talking to people (not saying you are, just that many on this forum seem to be) then don't worry because A) you'll find it's often mostly text and email and B) you'll honestly get used to it very quickly. Another advantage is that there's tons of online and offline courses and material relating to sales and marketing that can help you develop.

finally tried alcohol today. Got a screwdriver while at the sports bar with a friend and also tried a sip of his Yuengling. Screwdriver was ok. Basically just tasted like orange juice but with a slight offtaste. Honestly just felt slightly worse than regular OJ. Yuengling was so bitter my face scrunched up to a huge degree.

Drank like 2/3 of the screwdriver that was about it though. Feel a little weird but not really bad or anything.

Honestly i'm just sticking with soda except maybe for special occasions lol. Probably for the best anyway considering my dad got his neuropathy in part from his alcoholism, so not going down that road's probably for the best.

I can't wait til these silly polls that have Trump doing well against Biden are proven wrong, there are more Ds in the country than Rs and the media that runs them like CNN, MSNBC and PBS are Secular

Today, I passed a soon-to-open grocery store called Tashkent Supermarket and they’re looking a seafood chef. I have many questions.

Who done it? Has it been recovered? That sucks man, sorry to hear!

I don't know, I just found it missing from my driveway when trying to get to work.

Update, vehicle recovered, albeit with the battery burned out and needing replacement.
Does it smell like weed inside?

Surprisingly, no.
Good. That rules me out as a suspect.

Speaking of which, I got my medical card today!

The reason why Trump is losing is because of targeted tax cuts Gore wanted 500B and both Bush W and Trump tax cuts cost 1.5T

Blue states won't vote for tax cuts for Rich

https://www.cbsnews.com/news/gores-tax-break-dance/

That's why Christie and Haley whom won't win can get elected they seem moderate enough to win a blue state, Ds are celebrating Trump is the Nominee

But, is Hunter a drag on Biden yes he is, but he won't cost him Eday

The problem with tax cuts we need more revenue to pay for two wars

It's cold. 17F outside. “We could be looking at as much as 80, 85 hours of below freezing temperatures here" I saw someone say, talking about my area.
And snow isn't necessarily likely. Sad.

Blood pressure was 138/101 at the dentist today. They sent me home, said it was too dangerous to get my crown lengthening.

Yesterday I visited an exhibit on Artemisia Gentileschi in Genoa (my first time in Palazzo Ducale). I also finally visited some of the Rolli buildings. It was great!
